Playful personality in London Fields
Hannah had just moved into a new-build apartment near London Fields. She wanted her home to reflect her own personality and sense of style, but it lacked storage and was a completely blank canvas. She dropped into the Lozi showroom on nearby Hackney Road to check out our sample sale, where she fell in love with our Wave Bench and took one home.
Over the next year we worked together on bespoke pieces and custom versions of Lozi products for every room in Hannah's three-storey apartment, so the same design language flows throughout the space – from warm cherry hallway storage cupboards at the entrance to bespoke vinyl record storage furniture on the third floor.
At each stage Hannah used our signature playful details, friendly shapes and careful colour pairings to bring her rooms to life. As always, we integrated functional storage ideas that work hard to make daily life that little bit more satisfying. The result is a home that could only be Hannah's – full of warmth, character and personality.
Hallway storage
The hallway was narrow and needed to accommodate lots of storage, without becoming cramped. A slim coat-storage cupboard steps back above copious shoe storage, to help the corridor feel as open as possible.
Hooks inside the coat cupboard provide storage for coats and brollies that aren’t used every day.
Exaggerated curves on the lower cabinet keep the space flowing smoothly, using a new technique we’ve developed that can accommodate any radius.
Lozi Coat Hooks in a custom cherry finish on the opposite wall offer a place to hang jackets that Hannah uses frequently.
Hannah’s book collection sits on adjustable shelves with lots of possible positions, so she can fit in as many titles as possible and make an attractive display.
The same warm and welcoming cherry finish on cupboards in the bathroom makes the hallway seem longer. A void in the middle of the cabinet creates an extra display space and keeps the true depth of this room visible.
Movable partitions in this bespoke vinyl record storage unit allow Hannah to divide her records by genre, with plenty of space for her collection to grow.
Slots in the top surface keep a few records neatly to hand, referencing the crates in vinyl record shops.
A deep drawer in the centre provides storage for headphones etc when not in use. Above that, a simple cover easily pops off to access cables.
Hannah’s wardrobe and dressing table have a friendly feel, with the deep curve of a shelf under the mirror echoed by the smiling semi-circular handles and playful colour-coding on the drawer fronts.
Floating shelves
Bespoke wall-mounted shelves in Hannah’s home-office give her a mix of open display space and hidden storage, without cluttering the floor space. Sliding doors echo the colours from her bedroom for continuity.
Other pieces from Lozi’s ready-to-order range of furniture and accessories were customised specially for Hannah, with custom finishes to complement her bespoke Lozi furniture – including our U Shelf, Curved Shelves and Display Shelves. The Lozi Bench that sparked her first conversation with our design team still has pride of place in Hannah’s living room.

After submitting your enquiry and confirming a quote that suits your budget, you'll be allocated one of our highly skilled designer-makers and they will schedule a site visit, where relevant. Based on your requirements and personal style, we'll provide a digital 2-D design to visualise the project outcome. Your designer-maker will ensure the experience is stress-free, supporting important design decisions and providing tailored, design-led solutions. All Lozi furniture is then made in-house and if appropriate, carefully installed by the designer-maker and workshop team.
