A collection of multifunctional furniture - made for curious cats and design-loving humans.
The idea was born from the creative union between us - Lozi Designs and East London based cat accessories brand- Cheshire & Wain. We approached this project with both cats, humans and the modern interior firmly in mind, bringing together Cheshire & Wain's knowledge of cat’s complex needs and desires with our innovation and design experience in the world of modern furniture. Sonja Farrell, Founder of Cheshire & Wain approached us back in 2019 with a simple question…'Why can't feline furniture be multifunctional, beautifully made and suitable for both cats and humans?’ Being a fellow cat lovers, we wanted to create a solution for this. Over the last three years we have worked together on designing Round Haus 01 & 02.
Round Haus design pairs together the philosophy of mid-century modern furniture and London’s most famous architecture - Roundhouse in Camden and the Globe. Taking inspiration from its beautiful simplistic design that pays close attention to detail and sustainability. These elegant iterations complement a range of interiors and provide multifunctional furniture that your cat will love as much as you. The curved shape of this product creates a cosy enclosed space for your cat to feel calm, comfortable and safe. Whilst the seamless outside construction is made to hold the weight of a human and brighten up a space, creating an overall relaxed feeling in your home. As a finishing touch, Round Haus comes with a soft faux shearling and canvas cushion that perfectly fits the round shape inside, for ultimate comfort, ready for peaceful catnaps.
Both Round Haus 01 & 02 are designed and manufactured in house by our highly skilled team. Created from sustainably sourced Birch plywood, this product is cleverly engineered using only one piece of wood to reduce excess waste. The final off-cut created in the manufacture of Round Haus 02 has been made into a small circular tray for you or your cat to enjoy. Round Haus 02 is partially assembled for you to put together at home easily. By delivering Round Haus in the smallest box possible, we're able to reduce our carbon footprint. The lightweight design means Round Haus can easily be moved around your home - perfect for finding a place that works for both you and your cat.

About Cheshire & Wain
Cheshire & Wain has been delighting cats and their owners since 2013 with beautifully made cat accessories. From leather safety collars - made in-house at their East London studio - to catnip toys, ID tags, and cat beds. Each Cheshire & Wain design is rigorously tested for quality, comfort and suitability by founder Sonja Farrell’s beloved kitties – British shorthairs Percy & Penelope. Stocked at Harrods, Fortnum & Mason and Selfridges, Cheshire & Wain has carved a cat-shaped niche in the growing world of pet accessories, creating luxury wares with a playful edge for discerning kitties to covet.

To ensure minimal waste, the final offcut in the Round Haus 02 has been made into a small circular tray with an engraved cat design on the reverse. This little plaque can be used as a tray or hung on the wall to confirm a cat’s place of residence.
